This was disclosed by the Force PRO, Muyiwa Adejobi in a statement on Friday.
The statement said that the police Constabularies were arrested for their “unprofessional, unacceptable, and punishable acts”.
The arrested officers were recorded on camera, in a video that has gone viral, begging for cash from a female biker who was on a tour of Nigeria from the Netherlands.
The video generated condemnations from Nigerians on social media.
The Nigerian Police said such an act by the officers is unprofessional and would never be tolerated in any manner.
