During a meeting with the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation staff in Mogadishu, Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre expressed condolences to the family of Abdinasir Muse Abdirahman, a native of Somaliland, who was discovered deceased in Mogadishu.
The Prime Minister urged security agencies to launch a thorough investigation into the incident and swiftly apprehend the perpetrators to ensure justice is served promptly. Although no group has claimed responsibility for the death, authorities in Somaliland have attributed blame to the Somalia government.
Somalia’s police force reported the arrest of six suspects in connection with the murder of Abdinasir Muse, aged 32. Police authorities stated they have gathered evidence from the crime scene through their investigative efforts.
Abdinasir, who recently returned from studying abroad and obtained a degree in Air Navigation from a UK-based university, previously served as an ICAO staff member in Hargeisa before joining the Somalia Civil Aviation Authority in Mogadishu.
