Garoowe- 21, October, 2018— the cooperation summit among autonomous leaders of the Somalia’s Regional States is going to be held in Garoowe, the agenda for this big summit is not yet clear.
Jubaland president flew to Garoowe, the capital of Puntland, and his counterparts are expected to follow.
The dozen of presidents of self-rule states except Hirshabele leader will meet. However, they held a similar meeting of heads of states and in their communique accused the Somali government in Mogadishu of inability to force security and protect the country from terrorists.
The ties of the regional autonomies with Mogadishu government has deteriorated recently and if this upcoming proceed as planned, the last iota of the mandate and legitimacy of “ the central government” of Somalia will exponentially erode in the eyes of the public.
