Saed Gahayr, born in 1986 in Hargeisa, was well-known for his literary contributions, particularly his acclaimed works “Samo Talis” and “Astaanta Nabadda,” the biography of Hajji Abdikarim Waraabe, a former distinguished traditional elder and member of Somaliland’s House of Elders.
In a recent Facebook post, Gahayr candidly shared his health struggles, revealing his battle with oxygen deficiency and a severe blood infection. He noted that this marked his first experience as a patient spending nights in a hospital, highlighting the gravity of his condition.
