Commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, met with the heads of state from the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) on the sidelines of the 42nd Extraordinary Meeting in Kampala.
The meeting aimed to explore Dagalo’s vision for resolving the persistent conflict in Sudan.
In a post-meeting statement, Dagalo outlined his vision for a comprehensive and sustainable peace in Sudan, emphasizing the need to address the root causes of the conflict and build a foundation for a better future for the Sudanese people.
He reiterated his commitment to ensuring security and stability in the country while also prioritizing the relief of the Sudanese people’s suffering.
