The Central Directorate for Political Affairs of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA), said units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army have executed strikes on the rear bases of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Auserd sector, resulting in substantial casualties and damage to military infrastructure.
This was contained in a communiqué, released on Monday by the Central Directorate for Political Affairs of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army.
The communique emphasized that the operation was a strategic move within the framework of the ongoing liberation war.
It added that an advanced units of the Sahrawi army orchestrated a targeted bombardment on the enemy’s rear bases housing the headquarters of the Royal Moroccan Army in the Auserd sector.
The Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army remains resolute in its commitment to the ongoing combat operations, seeking to reclaim sovereignty over the occupied territories.
There were significant loss of personnel and equipment as a result of the strikes.
Smoke were seen billowing from the targeted areas, indicating the extent of the damage inflicted on the Moroccan occupation bases.
