The Somalia Security Forces closed some of the main roads in Mogadishu yesterday. Although the reason for the blockage has not been revealed yet, heavy security forces were seen on the main roads refusing transport and private vehicles from using the roads.
Somalia Federal Government security forces had early Sunday morning blocked all the major roads in the capital Mogadishu, but it has not been announced why the roads were blocked, although security forces were seen blocking vehicles and the public from using the roads.
Many vehicles were stuck on the main roads of the capital, Mogadishu, causing heavy jams in all streets.
The reason behind the road closure is still unclear, but some believe it is in connection with the commemoration of World International Day of the Girl Child where senior officers are expected to attend the event. So,the road had to be closed for security reasons.
People who use these roads and the vast majority of employees and students are seen walking along the roads to reach their destination places.
