Six criminals who previously were indicted of murder cases have been executed yesterday, sources close to the government confirmed.
Somaliland’s judiciary and justice system has elements of Sharia, western, and customary laws to get the best of all worlds. So far no human rights organization has condemned.
Relatively, Somaliland has lower crimes and more stable than its next-door, Somalia. The execution faced strong condemnation from local and international human rights organization when done during President Silanyo’s era.
