The Somalia government has donated humanitarian aid to the people of South Sudan affected by the floods and Rains.
The donation was raised by the Somali community in South Sudan as part of relations between the countries.
The Somalia ambassador to South Sudan Amb Hussein Haji Ahmed handed over the donations to South Sudan’s government.
Amb Hussein has said this donation contained 50 tons of food. South Sudan’s Vice President Hussein Abdul Baqi and members of his cabinet were present at the handover ceremony.
Somalia’s ambassador to South Sudan has said that the Somali people are saddened by the loss of their brothers and sisters affected by the floods and storms in the country.
South Sudan is still reeling from the effects of the floods, which have left hundreds of thousands of people homeless.
