Somalia’s Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble met with Nordic ambassadors to Somalia over security collaborations between their countries. The meeting held in Mogadishu yesterday at the Prime Minister’s office.
Mr Mohamed Hussein Roble, the Prime Minister, had last week made a commitment that he will work to intensify the security of the country.
According to the Prime Minister’s office, issues discussed in the meeting bordered on the approaching elections, good governance, justice, and peace-building in Somalia. The Prime minister said he had a fruitful and productive meeting with the Nordic ambassadors’ and they discussed key priority areas such as security, elections, economic development, good governance, and the fight against corruption.
There were other officials from the Somalia Federal Government side, including the Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi Mohamed Gulleid during the talks.
The Prime Minister thanked the ambassadors of the Nordic countries including Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden for their support to the Federal Government in various fields.
