

The Somalia PM and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon their arrival at Doha International Airport, by the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, and the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Somalia Dr. Abdullah bin Salem Al Nuaimi.
Prime minister Hamse Abdi Barre is expected to hold talks with Qatari officials about the current situation in Somalia, especially security, political and humanitarian aspects and other mutual interests shared by the two countries as reported by the office of the Prime minister.
Qatari leaders and PM Barre will also discuss ways that would achieve stability in Somalia to priorities and strengthen joint coordination, and proposals that would enhance confidence-building for the stability of this horn of Africa state.
Qatar previously reaffirmed its support for Somalia and to continue providing the necessary support to contribute to laying the foundations for security, development and stability and building a state of institutions.
