The Acting foreign affairs minister of Somalia, Ali Mohamed Omar, who is now visiting Qatar has engaged in talks with the Prime minister and Minister of foreign affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani on Wednesday.
According to Qatar News agency, During the meeting, the two sides discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries and the latest developments in Somalia, in addition to several issues of mutual interest.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar affirmed support for efforts aimed at enhancing the security and stability of Somalia and achieving development and prosperity for the Somali people.
It is not clear if the meeting relates to Somalia’s seeking international efforts to nullify Somaliland-Ethiopia MoU which Somalia considered as a clear violation to international law.
