Somalia’s Prime Minister pledges improved security

The Recently appointed Prime Minister of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble has pledged that he will prioritise security in the country. The Minister met with senior country’s security officers in his office yesterday.

Mohamed Hussein Roble received top country’s security officers in his office to discuss strengthening security matters in the country. The Prime Minister has pledged that he will prioritise the enhancement of the country’s security.

He said his government is committed to creating a peaceful environment for the public by resolving security challenges while he directed the commanders to come up with measures to improve the security situation in the entire nation.

The Prime Minister emphasised that he will come up with well defined plans to upgrade cooperation between the Federal and regional security agencies to the best of his ability. Somalia is planning to hold elections at the end of this year and the government is putting more efforts to improve the security of the country ahead of the elections.

SNA in cooperation with AMISOM have accelerated operations against al-Shabaab fighters in south and central Somalia.
