Somaliland Inaugurated Annual Automobile Check

Somaliland opened a center for MOT for annual motor checking by law. “ in the last year alone, road deaths reached a record high of 200 people, 5000 injured, and 5m USD properties were damaged.” Said the Minister of Transport. He portrayed car accidents can number killer in Somaliland far higher than Corvid-19 or any other disease.

He added that traffic authorities restricted giving driving licenses while 500 people applied driving licenses each month.
