Mohamed Kaahin who is Somaliland’s internal affairs minister has returned home on Monday after being away for two months. The minister had travelled outside of the country for medical treatment. He was recived warmly by government officials and the ruling party members upon his arrival in Hargeisa.
Mohamed Kahin noted that he had recovered from his illness and extended his thanks to the general public for their best wishes to him. The minister noted that he left the country ill but returned in good health.
He has not given much detail about his illness and whether he will return to the public service immediately. Mohamed Kahin who is a close ally with the incumbent President has been serving as the interior minister since 2017.
