Somaliland’s health ministry on Thursday confirmed 8 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total tally of infections to 384.
The total laboratory tests conducted within the last 24 hours in Somaliland are 40, of these 8 of them are confirmed positive for COVID-19. All of them are Somalilanders. All of the confirmed cases are males.Their age ranges from 9 to 59 years old.
Dr Hussein Mohamed Yusuf, a senior officer at the Somaliland’s ministry of health
told the local journalists that all of the latest recorded covid-19 cases of today are Identified from Hargeisa.
Dr Hussein Mohamed, said 3 people recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of people who have been discharged from Somaliland hospitals to 57.
Coronavirus cases in Somaliland are on a continuous rise on a daily basis while Hargeisa the Capital city of Somaliland remains the epicenter of the Somaliland local COVID-19 Transmission.
Somaliland has so far conducted total laboratory tests of 1521; of these 384 of them are confirmed to be positive for covid-19 with 22 confirmed deaths and 57 recoveries as of today.
