

The appointed committee for Somaliland 18th May commemoration that include Ministers, deputy ministers, Mayor of Hargeisa and the Governor of Maroodijeeh region have made their first public appearance to inspire people to mark this national day widely.
In his opening remarks, the minister of information, Suleiman Ali Kore informed every Somaliland citizen to be among celebrators of the forthcoming day to mark Somaliland’s 32nd national day since it withdrew unity with Somalia in 1991.
The minister of interior and the chairman of the committee, Mohamed Kahin also made a similar message to the public, urging them to show patriotism and magnify the national day by commemorating in style.
He also asked the public to collaborate closely with the national security agencies and report if they see any suspicious activities to avoid security threats during the celebrations.
