Abdirahman Irro reacts to Yesterday’s Presidential speech

The Presidential nominee of Waddani party in Somaliland Abdirahman Irro has expressed his thoughts about a keynote speech delivered by President Muse Bihi during the inauguration of reopening Berbera International Airport.

In his remarks, the President alleged Abdirahman Irro of being a staunch opponent of Somaliland – DP world deal to renovate the airport of the coastal city, Berbera to the extent of demanding the trial of his predecessor Ahmed Siilaanyo.

In a facebook post, The opposition party presidential nominee believes the President did not address issues of public expectations including the hike in food and fuel prices, the foreign policy and elections.

Abdirahman Irro found fault with the president for not giving gratitude to his predecessor who initiated the project to renovate the airport. Irro stated he was never opposed to anything which can be vital to the country’s development but opposed Kumliye’s approach to ratifying the agreement.
