Expert calls for strong uphold of Somaliland commercial and trade law for overall Development

A Somaliland based legal practitioner who is the founder of AQN international firm, Dr. Amal Ali has issued the need for a concerted effort at creating awareness to uphold the commercial and trade laws of the land for overall development

Dr. Amal who was speaking to the stakeholders and other legal practitioners at a special awareness programme by AQN international law firm said knowing your rights as a local business owner will go a long way in the economic drive of somaliland.

She emphasized the significance of labour laws and the parameters of transacting within the ambit of laws guiding the operation of any small or large scale company adding that a proper awareness of local trade and international standard practices can bring about more investors and increase trade benefits.

Politically, Dr. Amal stressed the need to gear all attention towards the current economic situation of the country to be able to attract international interests in the growth and development of Somaliland.

Present at the special awareness programme were representatives of somaliland business moguls notably from DP world, Berbera port authority, Government officials, law students and other stakeholders in the trade and commercial society.
