Feisal Ali Waraabe says opposition parties will form a transitional government after Bihi’s tenure ends in next month

On his return to Hargeisa from the UAE for health check ups, The Chairman of UCID party, Feisal Ali Warabe has criticized President Bihi’s leadership and claimed that Somaliland has no problem other than President Bihi.

Addressing the media, the chairman assured his commitment to the opposition parties to establish a transitional government after President Bihi’s tenure ends on 13 November, despite the house of elders having extended his mandate by two years.

Feisal Ali Waraabe has ruled out the term extension and insisted that the political association election can never precede the Presidential election. He asked the political association leaders not to waste their money and time.

He urged the public to unite against President Bihi and push him to restore the country’s law. A new political impasse emerged after the house of elders unprecedentedly extended President Bihi’s mandate by two years, a move the opposition parties sternly denounced.
