Jama Haji Abdi, the governor of Marodijeh region announced that the government successfully resolved a land dispute in Balli Mataan village in the Eastern Marodijeh region. The governor said the dispute was related to the fencing off grazing land in the livestock herding area.
Two neighboring households clashed and a man was wounded in a gun shot. We set out from here on Wednesday to resolve the crisis together with the eastern section police commissioner and police force. We have successfully resolved the issue, and Allah has made it easier for the wounded man.

The governor said injured man is recovering well and that local elder helped in apprehending the suspect who shot the wounded man.
Governor Jama Haji Abdi said that fencing communal grazing land is the most pressing issue that the regional government grabbles with.
The governor of Marodijeh Region reiterated the government’s commitment to fighting the appropriation of communal grazing lands. He announced that the regional government will start a campaign to remove fencing from all grazing lands in the Maroodijeh region.
