Nine people were injured in a bus accident at 31 district in Hargeisa last night. Somaliland fire brigadier confirmed the report with no deaths reported. The fire brigadier who arrived at the scene said they rescued the victims and some of them were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
According to the officials, three children were among the victims and are now receiving treatment in Hargeisa General hospital. The traffic police has not yet given details on the cause of the bus accident.
Many people die in car accidents in Somaliland annually but it’s very rare for such incidents to happen in the city center. The traffic police have repeatedly urged drivers to be responsible and drive safely.
