One Person die, three others rescued on Berbera beach

At Least one person was confirmed dead on Berbera beach. The deceased was identified as Iglan Hassan who is believed to be from Hargeisa. The woman aimed to spend her Eid days in the coastal city where eventually she lost her life.

Reports say, three others were rescued alive after being swallowed by water and were rushed to the hospital for treatment. Two of them are now in critical condition. According to sources, Some of the victims were from Burao.

Hundreds of people travel to Berbera from various parts of the country during the Eid celebrations. Most of them go there for swimming as well as to witness the historical buildings in the city. Authorities always warn people to avoid traveling to the city on such busy days.
