One Person Dies in a water well in Hargeisa

One Person was pronounces dead after falling into a water well in Hargeisa. The body of the deceased was removed from well by somaliland fire fighters. The identity of the person has not been disclosed but is said to have been a Man.

The Police have confirmed that they have launched an investigation pertaining to the issue to find the cause of the incident. They also warned the residents to keep distance from the water wells to avoid further accidents.

In recent times, there has been an increase in the number of accidents resulting from houses collapsing and water wells in Somaliland. However deaths resulting from water well accidents are common in the rural areas of the country unlike in the urban cities.
