Hargeisa, June 15:- More than 30,000 of Somaliland Secondary and Primary students sat today for their final school examinations.
President of the Republic of Somaliland HE. Muse Bihi Abdi wished the students to excel in the ongoing examinations.
President Muse visited Biyo-Dhacay School in Hargeisa where he was a student before 53 years ago.
The minister of Education and Science Mr. Osman Adan Jama said that more than 30,000 students, consisting Form-Four classes of the secondary schools and Class-8 students of the primary schools, are having their final examinations.
Supervisors from the ministry of education will oversee the examinations helped by invigilators (selected from only public school teachers) and volunteers (From the National Youth Service).
Students who are finishing secondary schools are going to take 12 written examinations in six days.
