

On Wed, 6th Feb, President Muse Bihi started the distribution of free books to Somaliland Public Schools.
In this education campaign, the president was accompanied a number of government ministers, and particularly the education department from the minister of education and science , deputy minister and also
director General of the ministry .
This program, which will be carried throughout Somaliland, has started in Qudhac-dheer primary school in Mohamoud Haybe district,
Hargeisa.

On this event, Somaliland president has delivered motivational speech that encouraged the students to focus their education and the future of their country as education gave us the power, confidence and courage to make life worthy of living. Education is a lifelong treasure, the greatest gift we can give our children and youth and shapes students into an effective member of the society because the knowledge obtained at this level is like a form of wealth.
Addressing the students, the president said, “the biggest investment is not building roads, beautiful houses but investing our children being our future leaders. Our mission is to see our children get better opportunity than we have in the past. The president has encouraged every sector of Somaliland community leading by business community to extend support and assistance to our children being a noble task.”
The ministry of education and sciences also spoke in the event and expressed the role and importance of education in our society.
