The President of the Republic of Somaliland, HE Muse Bihi Abdi, has received a team of international observers in the presidential palace.
The two sides discussed issues pertaining to elections which will take place on Monday.
The International observers include prominent leaders, including the former Sierra Leone President Ernest Bai Koroma, the long political rival and opposition leader of Uganda ,Dr.Kizza Besigye. The Director-general of the Brenthurst Foundation, Dr Greg Mills is also among the observers.
Durin the meeting the President briefed them on Somaliland’s free and transparent election achievements.
On the other side, the International observers have also expressed concern over Somaliland’s democracy and how it has become a great example in the regional countries.
