

SOMALILAND.COM – The president of the Republic of Somaliland, Muse Bihi Abdi, was warmly received at the capital of Ethiopia Addis Ababa while the thirty-third African Union Summit is going on.
President Bihi jetted to neighboring Ethiopia on Sunday afternoon accompanied by three ministers of his cabinet.
The Ethiopian state minister for foreign affairs, Dr. Akilu Hailemichael welcomed him at the Bole International Airport.
In the airport, he was joined by Somaliland’s minister of Foreign Affairs Yasin Haji Mohamud Hiir Faratoon and Somaliland’s representative in Addis Ababa.
According to the statehouse, the president will hold bilateral meetings with African leaders gathered at Addis Ababa for the African Union Summit. Among them is the president of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo – but it’s not clear if the two leaders will meet in Addis Ababa.
