Somalia National Consultative Council meeting officially Kicks of in Baidoa

The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud chaired the 5th meeting of the National Consultative Council between the federal government and member states which opened today in Baidoa city, southwest.

The heads of the Federal and State Governments will discuss major federal issues, the federal and regional government elections, and the delimitation of federal and national security framework, federalization, also the second face of the war against Al-Shabaab in the Southwest.

The Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre, The Deputy Prime Minister Salax Abdi Jamac, Heads of state Governments, the Governor of Banadir Region, and the Mayor of Mogadishu attended the meeting. except the Puntland State President Sicid Abdullahi Dani who reportedly declined to attend the meeting.
