Somaliland National electoral commission has dispatched all the electoral staff to their allocated polling stations across the country to contribute to holding peaceful and transparent elections in Somaliland.
Some of the National electoral commisioners who spoke to the media before their departure magnified the important role they are to play for ensuring the security of the Elections. Meanwhile , some members of the public have already started travelling to their allocated electoral constituencies before the government imposes security lockdown across the country.
More than one million people are expected to cast their votes for the local council and house of representatives tomorrow morning and will finally be closed in the evening. Around 50 International observers including former President and Presidential candidates will be present to witness the election process on Monday.
