Somaliland National electoral commision has warned government officials, Political parties and electoral agents against spreading or publishing fake electoral results.
The electoral commission said all the preliminary results will be announced at the district, regional and national level and no other than the electoral commission has a right to share it with the public.
According to the statement, those who violate the electoral law will be prosecuted. This came at a time when documents showing provisional results of Sayla and Lughaya were widely circulated on social media.
