

The Finance Minister of Somaliland, Sacad Ali Shire, has on Monday submitted two vital laws ; the Public finance management law and the Somaliland Revenue act, before the assembly for amendment.
The minister revealed that the amendment of these two laws could help the country’s financial institutions.
The house of representative speaker Abdirzak Khalif said the Mps will go through the first readings of the two laws while the finance committee of the house will be having special meetings with senior officers of the ministry for clarifications and later the house will start debating on it.
The minister of finance Sacad Ali Shire providing more details on these two laws stated that it contains five main laws including, the public finances; customs; Inland Revenue; the State Auditor and the public procurement.
