On a press release on 15.nov from the Somaliland ministry of foreign affairs reinstated to their international partners stating that its peace and stability homegrown and inviolable and the constitutional rights of their citizens are paramount.
The government of Somaliland also reported to its international partners saying that it is worth nothing and that the current government is democratically elected through free and fair election and that the government is adhering to all elections timeline set by the national electoral commission.
According to the press statement, The government also urged the opposition parties to follow the law and the electoral process and advised the opposition parties to desist from any action that could ignite political unrest or violence.
It also advised and urged all its righteous citizens to cooperate with the law enforcement agencies in order to achieve the nation’s peace and security. This was the first press release by the Somaliland foreign affairs ministry to the international partners since the opposition parties’ statement over Muse Bihi’s legitimacy.
