Somaliland minister of works and housing Abdullahi Abukar has pledged that he will file a lawsuit against the chairman of UCID party Feisal Ali for accusing him of “corruption” and public mismanagement.
In his remarks during a press briefing, the minister distanced himself from the allegations raised by Feisal Ali Warabe and demanded for evidence before the law as he plans to file a lawsuit against him.
Listing all the allegations, the minister further elaborated more about the sustainable road maintenance project funded by the European Union. He stated that the project costed 25 Million which is against the amount Feisal Ali Waraabe previously stated.
Abdillahi Abukar underscored that the Project was partially successful despite the expiration of the contract and the European Union opposed to renewing it. He asked the chairman to present adequate evidence before the law.
