Somaliland Ministry of investment and Industrial development held consultation meeting on the industrial act

The Somaliland ministry of investment and industrial development held a consultation meeting on the industrial act on Wednesday in Hargeisa. Government officials, including ministers and industry stakeholders have attended the opening ceremony and all praised the initiative.

According to the officials who delivered keynote speeches at the event, the discussion of the draft of the industrial act to be productive to benefit the development of the country was the center of today’s discussion.

The Director General of the Ministry of investment and industrial development, Mohamed Osman Saed elaborated and emphasized the significance of the industrial act to Somaliland.

The Director of industry department of the Ministry, Fuad Rashid Bullo has provided further details about the industrial act, saying it contains 7 chapters which are in great need of Industrial Development.

On the other side, the Mayor of Hargeisa Abdikarim Ahmed Mogeh has commended the act which he believes will play a great role in the country’s industrial development. Other key figures who also spoke at the event made similar commendations.
