Somaliland police have detained last night Baashe Faarah Abdi who is the prime suspect for the murder of fellow worker on friday night in Hargeisa. The Police said in a press release the suspect attacked with a knife his colleague Jimaale Rashid Hassan at around 2:30 Am local time while he was sleeping.
According to the police statement, the pair were working together in the same restaurant. Initial reports say, they used to have long disputes while they were at work but none was expecting it could go to this far.
However, Baashe Faarah escaped from the scene when allegedly killed the fellow worker but the police eventually apprehended him and is expected to appear in court soon to face charges against him.
The Police commend the public in general for their security corporation and the information they always share. Urging the public to desist from involving crimes against humanity and to report to security agencies if they see any suspicious activities.
