The President of the Republic of Somaliland, HE Muse Bihi Abdi, has sent a congratulatory message to the Government of the Republic of Djibouti as it celebrates 44 years of indipendence.
Djibouti is located in the Horn of Africa and borders Somaliland in the south, Ethiopia in the southwest, Eritrea in the north, and the Red Sea as well as the Gulf of Aden in the east. The country gained independence from France on June 27, 1977.
Somaliland has established strong bilateral relations with neighboring Djibouti sharing alot in common.
