Somaliland President Meets With Political Associations’ Leaders

The President of Somaliland, Muse Bihi has invited the leaders of political associations who were approved to attend the upcoming political associations election which its date has not yet been agreed on by the political stakeholders.

The Presidency, said in a statement, the ongoing conflict in Las Anod city was the main center of their discussion as President Bihi shared the latest reports regarding the Las Anod’s situation with the political association leaders.

According to the Somaliland Presidency, Bihi asked the political leaders to partake in the efforts to bring a lasting solution to the matter. The President also had a similar meeting with the opposition parties yesterday which they agreed on to end the conflict peacefully.
