

Somaliland President Muse Bihi has on Tuesday traveled to Ethiopia where he will engage in talks with the Ethiopian Prime minister Abiy Ahmed in Addi ababa. The Somaliland government announced the visit on Monday but did not disclose the agenda of the meeting to the public.
The Somaliland Presidency stated that the President will spend a few days in Ethiopia to have separate talks with top Ethiopian government officials. Bihi is accompanied by some of his cabinet ministers including the finance minister Sa’ad Ali Shire and the special envoy of Somaliland – Somalia talks Edna Adan.
On Monday, Somaliland information ministry said the two leaders will discuss further strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries. Ethiopia and Somaliland have had close diplomatic relations since Somaliland announced its sovereignty.
