Somaliland Traditional Elders Sent Complaints against DP World to the President

A section of Somaliland traditional elders have sent a complaint against DP world to the president of Somaliland Muse Bihi. Speaking to local media, the traditional elders explained their dissatisfaction of the Emirati Company; DP World for dominating and segregating the national port workers.

In their remarks, they have asked the government to intervene in this case and to find a lasting solution for it.

This is not the first time Somaliland nationals have raised their concern against DP world.

Somaliland and DP world had signed a bilateral agreement allowing the company to expand the Berbera port which is believed to add much value to the revenue of this horn of Africa nation. This company is also one of the first Arab international companies to invest in Somaliland.
