In a report released by the Somaliland police, at least Seven car accidents have happened today in Somaliland. The report said 5 people sustained injuries and no deaths were reported.
Explaining in depth, the Police noted that 6 out of the 7 accidents happened in Hargeisa, four people reported wounded. The police did not clarify the level of the victims’ injuries to the public. The remaining accident occured in Borama and one person got injured. the report added.
The traffic police said they reached immediately at the scene and launched a preliminary investigation towards the accidents. Recently, the police have been sending warnings to the drivers to keep the safety of the roads and anyone who fails to follow the government directives will be prosecuted.
