A member of UK Parliament Gavin Williamson says Somaliland is on the verge of attaining international recognition given the political pressures it received from considerable members within the house in recent time.
Gavin who was interviewed by CBA TV said championing the debate in UK house is not only the right thing to do but also the logical steps taken towards humanity.
Gavin is on a courtesy visit to Hargeisa, Somaliland capital after raising the widely covered debate last month. He said Somaliland deserves to be recognized speedily by the international communities adding that UK parliament will not rest on it oars.
Speaking on political stability and security in the region, Gavin said Somaliland is one of the most peaceful places to be in Africa.
He said consistent debates and support for the course is the only hope to attain the feat.
