Somaliland National Electoral commission has officially kicked off at all the six regions in the country the voter cards replacement and Electoral constituencies. This service was intended for those who had either lost their voter cards or moved to a new Electoral constituency which is different where they were registered in 2016.
The country’s electoral commission has asked the public to work closely with them during the final preparations for the upcoming parliamentary and local council elections. They also advised the public should follow the Electoral commission’s voter registration replacement guidelines.
On Sunday, the Somaliland National Electoral commission announced that they are in their final preparation of voter cards replacement and constituencies which will continue within the coming days.
Recently, The house of elders also endorsed that the country’s parliamentary and local council elections would take place on 31 May of this year as proposed by the President and the Electoral commission along with the Political parties.
