Both Somaliland opposition party leader Abdirahman Iro and Stuart Brown of the UK House in Hargeisa sent their heartfelt condolences to his family.
Saddened by the passing of Brigadier General Abdirahman Liban Ahmed “Fooxle”. A consummate public servant whom I had the good fortune to work with in his time as Deputy Police Commissioner. My thoughts are with his family, friends and members of the Somaliland Custodial Corps.
