The Chairman of UCID Party accused President Bihi for “Breaching” the constitution

Feisal Ali Warabe, the chairman of UCID party has said that President Bihi does not show commitment to listen to his political opponents and wants to follow his decisions without giving special consideration to the constitution, citing that the president attempts to delay presidential elections.

Feisal Ali Warabe alleged president Bihi of deliberately breaching the country’s constitution and ruled out that no other ballot can precede the presidential election as the parliament had not enacted a law defining the political association election.

The chairman said Bihi’s administration used excessive police force against opposition peaceful demonstrators to an extent the leading opposition presidential candidate Abdirhaman Irro narrowly escaped from an “assassintation attempt” during the 9th june protests.

Feisal informed the public that they are just waiting for a response from the voluntary negotiation committee. The opposition repeatedly said if the talks fail they will proceed with their nationwide protests to demand the election takes place on time.
