

The Chairman of Waddani party in Somaliland, Hirsi Ali Hajji Hassan , has accused President Muse Bihi of breaching the country’s constitution, citing various aspects including the ongoing controversial bill of political parties in the parliament.
The chairman said President Muse Bihi attempted to influence decisions of the house of representatives and the judicial systems, an allegation the President had denied. Hirsi stated if Bihi maintains inciting constitutional crises he would lose immunity and will not be considered as President.
WADDANI declares its readiness to take part in the registrations of political association but believes the race will kick off december next year, contrary to the government’s announcement that it should be held in june, 2022.
The opposition party now appears leading the debate over the eligibility candidacy of President Muse who is said to be allegedly holding a foriegn passport, a claim that the government nor the President have yet commented it.
The Party revealed that President Muse Bihi has a Djibouti passport and the law forbids a citizen with a foreign passport to run for presidency.
