The fourth session of Somaliland’s house of representatives officially started on Monday at the headquarters in Hargeisa. The house members unanimously approved the agenda of the session which is expected to last for three months.
The house members will make some amendments on the civil aviation law, they will also discuss the country’s capital law, the natural resource bill, the Somaliland insurance law and more other essential bills and laws.
The speaker of the house Abdirisak Khalif who was chairing the opening session directed the house members to keep the attendance to avoid delays as there are many tasks the house expected to finalize during this session.
The speaker also announced the house will vote for the last three remaining electoral commissioners on Tuesday while the house still has the choice to either approve or reject it. However, the house members had previously rejected the three members.
