Three siblings were confirmed dead after a fire broke out at their residential house in Borama. The reason for the fire is still unknown, but the fire brigade said the police are currently investigating the incident.
The father of the deceased children told CBA TV that he was in the mosque for afternoon prayer at the time the incident happened. He said two girls died on the spot and the boy died in hospital.
The father narrated that his fourth child survived but incurred minor injuries. He sadly added that his children returned to their God and he is praying for them to be in a better place than this world.
According to the parents, the children were aged between 8 and 1 year old. The injured boy is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
