Somaliland’s Waddani party blamed Bihi’s administration for not treating job seekers equally and raised doubts over the civil servant’s recruitment procedures, an accusation the government has neither accepted nor denied.
The party’s Social affairs secretary Sadiq Dhamme accused the civil service commision of unfair hiring practices. He narrated that the second batch of the national service programme were 736 people but 711 got employed and 5 others who were late registered. The official demands the government to clarify how it solved the remaining 20 vacants positions.
He noted that the government allocated 2 billion Somaliland shillings for new recruitments but claimed that none was hired or promoted as permanent staff. Sadiiq Dhamme regrets that there are staff who have been serving at the Hargeisa General Hospital for almost a decade but never received salaries.
The Social secretary affairs of Waddani party believes if the current administration does not react to these growing criticisms it would hit Somaliland’s good governance.
