Waddani Party send an ultimate statement ahead of tomorrow’s ending official term of President Bihi

Somaliland’s Waddani party has made a statement that many could see as the final statement from the party ahead of tomorrow’s ending official term in office of President Muse Bihi. The opposition party told supporters to be on alert towards any decisions the party officials would announce in the next hours.

The Government and opposition parties have not yet jointly solved the political turmoil over the election sequence, as reports indicate the top officials of the opposition parties held meetings today in Hargeisa to establish a final decision.

The youth wing of Waddani party sent a call to the supporters to get ready for any decision the opposition parties to announce in the next hours. Without further explanation, The youth wing officials noted the decision could be both bitter or sweet and aimed to save Somaliland’s democracy.

The two oppositions repeatedly claimed not to recognise Bihi as “the legitimate ” President after 13 November which the officials term in office of President Bihi will finish if he does not accept the Presidential election to come before the political parties’ election.
